Every ezstrats release since January 2026: new features, improvements and fixes.
Releases
- Version 2.26.1: Upload limits and clubhouse videos 2026-10-19
Longer videos in the clubhouse, kept for 30 days, and the same clear limits for everyone in “To tag”.
- Better: In the clubhouse, a video can now weigh up to 300 MB and last up to 20 minutes. It stays for 30 days, then it is erased from the server; the message itself stays.
- Better: In “To tag”, a utility or trick video lasts 1 minute at most and weighs 50 MB at most: a video that is too long is refused before it uploads. The same limits for every team.
- Better: The Windows app 1.6.1 records lighter clips that fit under 50 MB; a refused clip stays in your Videos folder instead of being sent again and again.
- Version 2.26: Support, inside Help 2026-10-19
Something wrong? Open a request from Help, attach a screenshot or video and talk to the team. First human reply within 36 hours.
- New: The Support tab in Help: create a private request, attach images or videos and find your conversations in “My requests”, even without a team or subscription. You receive an email when the team replies.
- New: For platform administrators, an inbox to assign requests, track their status and priority, reply to players and leave private notes. New requests also arrive by email, with reminders to meet the 36-hour response time.
- Version 2.25: Moderation and a help page 2026-10-19
A Help page in the menu, where the Windows app and the Chrome extension have moved, and, for the staff, moderation of everything teams upload.
- New: A Help page, under Settings in the menu: the Windows app and the Chrome extension are explained there (their old addresses lead to it), with “On this page” and a search (press “/”). A chapter per module, Map book, Stuffs, Tricks and Glossary, is in preparation.
- New: For the platform staff, Settings → Platform → Moderation: the gallery of videos and pictures uploaded by teams, to approve in batches or remove with a warning e-mailed to the author, and the history of removals.
- Better: An uploaded file can no longer exceed 50 MB.
- Version 2.24: Emojis and stickers in the clubhouse 2026-10-19
The clubhouse chat gets colourful: proper 3D emojis, animated emojis and your team's own sticker pack.
- New: The smile in the clubhouse field opens the emojis: in 3D, the same on every device, with a search in English or French and your latest first. A message of one to three emojis shows in big.
- New: Animated emojis to send as stickers: they play a few times then stop, and start again on hover.
- New: Your team's sticker pack: add an image from your computer (a GIF stays animated), the whole team can send it. Its author or an admin removes it from the pack; the messages that sent it keep it.
- Version 2.23.2: Lighter and smoother 2026-10-19
A performance audit of the site: less to download, pages that redraw less, a lighter 3D model, and a better-protected server.
- Fixed: After a resumed session or regained premium access, the live feed could stay silent until a reload: it now reconnects for sure, presence too.
- Fixed: A passing failure signing media emptied Stuffs, Tricks, To tag and the Carnet: the list now shows, without its pictures until it comes back.
- Better: The Carnet loads faster (about a tenth less to download), and the server connection starts with the page.
- Better: The callout board, the Tricks wall and the lists redraw far less: dragging a label or hovering stays smooth, even for a big team.
- Better: 3D model: smokes, molotovs and trajectories ask far less of the graphics card, and switching maps no longer rebuilds the whole scene.
- Better: After an outage only the team's data is reread, not the whole site; 3D models and site files arrive precompressed.
- Better: Server: public reads are rate-limited per address, its logs are capped, and the database checks file rights faster.
- Version 2.23.1: Server maintenance 2026-10-19
A server audit, with two small fixes to the database and the site.
- Fixed: A folder address of the site (such as /about/) now serves the app instead of a “forbidden” page.
- Better: Carnet and strat threads, and what you have read, are indexed in the database: faster as teams grow.
- Better: The server now watches each ezstrats service and its certificates itself, and reports what goes down.
- Version 2.23: The Premium page 2026-10-19
A page showing what premium adds, opened by “Upgrade”; public pages open in your browser's language.
- New: Premium page: the offers table, free and premium side by side, moment by moment through a match night; reach it with the “Upgrade” button on the home page.
- Better: Public pages: a visitor lands in their browser's language and keeps it through sign-in and sign-up; they switch with the “English” / “Français” link at the bottom of the menu, instead of the FR / EN toggle in the header.
- Better: Signed in, public pages follow your profile's language, even when opened from a link shared in the other language.
- Version 2.22.1: The same menu everywhere 2026-10-19
Public pages get the signed-in side menu; a utility lineup in the clubhouse opens full size in place.
- Better: Public pages: the menu on the left, as when signed in, instead of the top bar; on a phone it opens with ☰.
- Better: The clubhouse: a utility lineup opens full size without leaving the chat, and its clip loads as soon as it is on screen.
- Version 2.22: A richer clubhouse, a simpler Players page 2026-10-19
Images, videos, utility and tricks in the chat; the team photo can be framed; Positions becomes Players, editable in place.
- New: The clubhouse: attach an image, a video, a utility lineup or a trick to a message, with “+”, “/” or by pasting a screenshot; a YouTube link shows its video.
- New: Team photo: frame it before uploading, with a preview of the banner as your screen shows it; “Reframe” works on the current one.
- Better: Positions becomes Players: a single grid, each cell changes with a click and saves at once, no Edit button or radar view.
- Better: Tricks: all maps on arrival, and the wall only (the radar view is gone).
- Better: The team menu offers “Manage my team”, which opens Settings → Team.
- Fixed: Signed in, ezstrats.com/fr and /en lead to your team's home instead of the presentation page.
- Version 2.21: The clubhouse: your team's home 2026-10-19
The home page is no longer about the map but about the team: its photo, its logo, who is here, what got done, and a chat.
- New: Home: the team banner, with its photo and logo (Settings → Team → The clubhouse, for admins).
- New: The clubhouse: the team's moves (utility, tricks, strategies, debriefs, videos, glossary, arrivals) and a chat, merged by day; a message is deleted by its author or an admin.
- New: Who's here: each teammate with the page they are on, and whether they play from the Windows app.
- Better: The team's three latest utility clips as thumbnails, playing on hover; no more “The map” card or 3D model on the home page, the model stays on Utility.
- Version 2.20.1: A lighter menu 2026-10-19
The bottom of the menu fits on one line; your team's full name shows in Settings.
- Better: Bottom of the menu: the version, and “⋯” opening About, status and the legal documents.
- Fixed: Settings: the team name is no longer cut off, it wraps under “Team”.
- Version 2.20: Your photo, and tighter Settings 2026-10-19
A photo instead of your initial; the subscription joins General, which drops the keyboard shortcuts.
- New: Settings → General: click your avatar to add a photo, shown to your teammates everywhere instead of your initial.
- Better: The subscription no longer has its own page: it sits at the bottom of General.
- Better: Password: a single “Change” line that opens on the current and new one, with an eye to check it.
- Better: Keyboard shortcuts leave General.
- Version 2.19.1: No more map of the night 2026-10-19
Home and Positions open on your last map, without the “tonight” left over from matches.
- Better: Home: the “Tonight” card becomes “The map”, picked for your device rather than the whole team.
- Better: Positions: no more “tonight” column, and the radar has its own map picker.
- Better: Settings → Members: no more search or filters, just the “Invite” button.
- Version 2.19: Permissions, member by member 2026-10-18
Permissions are set in each member's row; no more groups to manage or Invitations page.
- Better: Settings → Members: click a member to unfold their permissions, module by module, with pause, admin role and removal.
- Better: The “Invite” button creates links and lists the open ones; newcomers join with a player's permissions.
- Better: The “Groups & permissions” and “Invitations” pages are gone; “General” opens the team settings.
- Better: “My teams” becomes “My team”.
- Version 2.18.3: The Map book wide open 2026-10-18
Contents and discussion stay open, and the discussion widens by hand.
- Better: On a computer, the Map book contents and discussion always stay open: the “Contents” and “Discussion” buttons are kept for phones only.
- Better: The discussion is wider and can be dragged by its left edge; the width stays on the device, a double-click puts it back.
- Version 2.18.2: One map book per side, for real 2026-10-18
The Map book contents lose their “T side” / “CT side” pages and their search.
- Better: Default, Variants and Roles sit right under Essentials: the side is picked at the top of the page, no more “T side” or “CT side” page to hold them.
- Better: The “Find a page” field leaves the contents, which fit in a few lines.
- Version 2.18.1: A plainer welcome 2026-10-18
The Home greeting loses its underline and its full stop.
- Better: On Home, “Hey <name>” no longer has a red stroke under the name or a final full stop.
- Version 2.18: The map bar on one line 2026-10-18
Map, side and callouts sit on one legended line above the model, and the Callouts button has no menu any more.
- New: On Stuffs, Utility and Tricks, a bar in three legended groups: the map, the CT / T side, the callouts. No more “All” for the side: content without a side shows on both.
- Better: The Callouts button reads at a glance: the eye hides the layer, two buttons pick Official or My team, the pencil opens the team’s Callouts page.
- Better: A lineup or trick opened from its address puts the page on its side, and the grenade shown by default is one that side has.
- Version 2.17.1: Smokes and flashes together 2026-10-18
Grenade chips can be combined, and work pages no longer detour through the public version.
- Better: On Stuffs and the public Utility, several grenades at once: from “All”, a click keeps one type, the next ones add or remove theirs.
- Better: No more “Public library” link on Stuffs, Tricks, Lexicon and Callouts: the library is already on these pages, sorted by “All · My team · Library”.
- Version 2.17: Every grenade at once 2026-10-18
The Stuffs page can show every grenade at once, and the map no longer needs instructions.
- New: An “All” chip before Smoke, Flash, Molotov and HE, on Stuffs and on the public Utility: every grenade of the map on the 3D model, each in its colour.
- Better: No more help text at the bottom left of the map: clicking a grenade, hovering a starting point, the arrows and Esc work as before.
- Better: Lineups without marked points no longer have their own link: the player goes through them with the others.
- Version 2.16.1: One duplicate less 2026-10-18
Team callouts are managed in a single place: the Callouts page.
- Better: Settings › Team no longer has a Callouts tab: renaming, adding, placing or removing a callout happens on the Callouts page (“Manage our callouts →” in the Callouts button).
- Version 2.16: One place for every setting 2026-10-18
Settings now brings together your account, your team’s management and, for the site’s staff, the platform.
- Better: A single “Settings” entry at the bottom of the menu: on the left of the page, “My account” for everyone, then your team’s block if you are one of its admins (members, permissions, invitations, activity, callouts, name and subscription).
- Better: The open tab is kept in the address: reloading or going back returns to it.
- Version 2.15.4: A peek at the team 2026-10-18
Without a team, the Callouts button also shows what team callouts offer.
- Better: On the public pages, the Callouts button now opens without a team too: “My team” shows there, premium only, with a link to sign up (or to create or join a team once signed in).
- Version 2.15.3: Straight to it 2026-10-18
Utility and Tricks open straight onto their content, and callouts are found from the map rather than in the menu.
- Better: Utility opens straight onto the last map you visited (Dust II the first time), without going through the map grid.
- Better: Tricks opens on the wall of every map; “All maps” stays at the top of the map picker, and a trick opened from there brings you back to it when closed.
- Better: Callouts leaves the menus: your team's callouts are managed from the map's Callouts button (“Manage our callouts →”), the public pages stay at their address.
- Better: On Tricks, the Callouts button now only shows in Radar view, the only one with a map.
- Version 2.15.2: A little tidying up 2026-10-18
The logo loses the line below it, and the Callouts button gets straight to the point.
- Better: The ezstrats logo stands alone, without “CS2 team playbook” below it.
- Better: Callouts button: the menu keeps only the Official / My team choice and the link to the Callouts page, with no list or search.
- Version 2.15.1: ezstrats, all lowercase 2026-10-18
The name is now spelled ezstrats, all lowercase: logo, titles, legal documents, emails and extension.
- Better: The logo and every text on the site spell ezstrats.
- Version 2.15: Talking about strategies 2026-10-18
The whole team can now talk about a strategy, or one of its steps, right from its card in the Map book.
- New: Map book: clicking a strategy opens it with its discussion; a step's bubble attaches your remark to it, marked settled once dealt with. “Edit” stays with its author and admins.
- New: A strategy card shows its messages, with a dot when a teammate has written since your last visit.
- Fixed: In an editable page, clicking a strategy card now opens it.
- Version 2.14.1: Map book drafts, Windows app 1.5 2026-10-18
A Map book page is a draft or published; the app's clips always go to the team they were filmed in.
- New: Map book: each page is a draft or published; “Publish” and “Back to draft” for those who edit the Map book, new pages start as drafts.
- Better: Rights: the “Strategies” column leaves the Admin, the Map book right decides for strategies.
- Better: A Windows app clip goes to the team and account it started in: if you switched teams meanwhile, it waits until you open that team again, and the badge says so.
- New: REC badge: a Stop button, to end a clip after an Alt-Tab.
- Better: Settings → Windows app: “up to date” only once checked, the download progress, and “Open the app settings”.
- Fixed: A clip already in To tag is no longer sent again when the app could not file it away.
- Version 2.14: Strategies in the Map book 2026-10-18
The Map book reads one side at a time, strategies are written in it, and its match mode puts them full screen on your second monitor.
- New: Map book: a T / CT choice next to the map; the contents show only that side's pages, L'essentiel staying shared by both.
- New: “/ Nouvelle strat” writes a strategy from a page and pins it there; “/ Strat” pins an existing one.
- New: Map book match mode: the map and side's strategies in full screen, without menus.
- Better: A strategy is edited from its card, by its author or an admin; other members read it without being able to change or delete it.
- Better: The Strategies page leaves the menu: its old address opens the Map book.
- Version 2.13.2: Official callouts in English 2026-10-18
A location added to the reference from the EN tab keeps its English name.

- Version 2.13.1: By the numbers 2026-10-18
The About page shows more telling figures and tells the tool’s story from its start, in September 2025.
